Price performance is absolutely right here! Everything we had was finely seasoned and handcrafted to a high standard. The menu is seasonal and not too big. The service is very friendly and attentive, the ambience warm and pleasant. Here you feel completely at home as a guest.

A very nice, homely country inn, which has been excellently renovated without losing the character of the house. The menu may be a bit one-sided - yesterday there were a lot of pumpkin-based dishes or some with pumpkin or sheep cheese. The quality of the food is right, well crafted, even if there is still room for improvement. The pear cream was something different and really excellent. The duck breast had to be pink and the pumpkin gnocchi didn't have to be. The same goes for the starter: the venison carpaccio was good, but tomato wedges from cocktail tomatoes neither go with the venison, nor are such decorations contemporary. The service was a little slow, but quite humorous and very friendly - so pleasant. This restaurant is recommended. ------ I have now visited this inn twice. On the second visit there should be a traditional meat platter. Butcher plate that is hearty home. Slaughter plates are a tradition on the Baar. When the colder season comes, there is slaughter. Firstly, the pigs have reached their slaughter weight and secondly, space has to be created for the new rearing. In addition, the cold weather helped the freshness of the sausages and other products. Now I am back and happy. There is no other way to describe it. I've already tried a lot of meat platters, especially in the Lake Constance area. And every time I longed to go back to the Münsterland after the battle days - although the records in southern Germany were good too. At the start there was a butcher soup - also called sausage soup elsewhere. That was already the basis for a lasting feeling of happiness. Then there was the fresh meat: liver sausages, sausages and blood sausages of the finest quality. Corrugated meat, or belly meat, was one of them. In other restaurants one was usually already at the end of the splendor. Not so in the Löwen in Kirchdorf im Brigachtal. Liver, very gently braised in a delicious sauce, pork cheek, also braised, smoked meat and the tongue of pork, sliced ​​as thin as it should be. As side dishes you could choose between roasted potatoes, spaetzle, puree, pea porridge and sauerkraut. The sauerkraut had a bewitching, vinous, mild taste that is seldom found. Fortunately for me, the slaughter meal will be repeated in the next few weeks and an hour's drive will not be too far for me. A word about the price? Shamefully low! Today I experienced country house gastronomy at the highest level.

We were our first guest at the Löwen in Brigachtal on Sunday. In addition to the good food, we liked the excellent hospitality of all employees. You immediately feel comfortable in the restaurant. The prices are also quite reasonable. Highly recommended. We will definitely be back.

The prices and the associated higher demands are not met. It is good but not outstanding according to the prices. For me there are other addresses in Brigachtal to get such a meal at better prices.

We were there for dinner and it is delicious. The waitresses were very nice. We especially liked the salad buffet. We'll be back 😉
